Hey, I'm Ye
Senior Full-Stack Developer
11 years building React & Python web applications across fintech, recruitment, and media.
Auckland, New Zealand
About
The short version
I've spent the last 11 years building web products that people actually use. My work spans fintech dashboards, recruitment platforms, and media tools — mostly with React on the frontend and Python or Node.js on the back.
I'm most comfortable when I own a problem properly. That means being involved from the first conversation about what it should do, right through to shipping and keeping it running in production. I've done that as a solo founder, as a team lead managing other developers, and as a senior individual contributor embedded in a larger team.
Right now I'm based in Auckland, studying a Master of Applied Finance at AUT, and looking for remote contract work at 25 hours per week. I work well async, communicate clearly, and don't need handholding to get things done.
